Description: This 8 hour course is designed for Crime Scene Investigators and Fire Investigators who document and collect evidence from fire scenes. Processing fire scenes requires a different approach than other types of crime scenes. Special equipment and training is required to properly identify, document, collect and preserve items of evidentiary value at these scenes. Topics include but are not limited to: photography challenges at fire scenes, sketches and diagrams, evidence collection methods specific to fire scenes, fire scene safety and PPE, fire scene processing equipment and evidence contamination issues related to fire scenes.

About Remote Learning Classrooms: Remote Learning Courses provided by Rocky Mountain Forensics LLC are virtual classrooms using Zoom that emulate in-person training. These are not webinar presentations. Each student must have a working camera and microphone so they can actively participate in discussions and any appropriate practical exercises.
