Buried Bodies Recovery (8 Hours)
The course will cover locating and identifying burial sites, proper scene measurements and documentation, scene processing, site excavation, evidence collection and body/bone preservation. This is a hands-on workshop for burial site recovery, please dress in appropriate work clothing (weather and dirt).
*This workshop will take place offsite, attendees will be required to find methods of transportation.*

Instructor:
Lisa Pope is a Crime Scene Reconstructionist and Latent Print Comparison Analyst with the ANAB accredited Eugene Police Department Forensic Evidence Unit. Lisa has a Master’s degree in Forensic Science, is an IAI Certified Latent Print Examiner and Certified Crime Scene Analyst. With nearly 20 years in forensics, Lisa has worked many cases, instructed many trainings, and has had original research and crime scene work published in many publications to include those of ASCR, IAI, AFTE and PNWDIAI. Lisa enjoys traveling, and looks forward to visiting Greece with her husband and two amazing daughters.
